Pastor Jordan Cramer comes to us from City Point UMC in North Richland Hills where he has served as the Ministry Coordinator since 2023. Previously, he served as Worship Pastor and Adult Christian Education Director at Wesley UMC in Greenville. He's a cradle United Methodist and is proud of it! In his words: “Though our denomination has faced challenges, I believe we are entering a season of healing. Isaiah 43:18-19 gives me hope for just that. Indeed, God is doing a new thing right now, and I'm here for it. I'm passionate about people and fully believe that every person is of sacred worth and a child of God. Everyone deserves to know the love of God through Jesus Christ. While we're not perfect, we will find perfect love in Christ and that is worth sharing!” Jordan feels God is moving in our community and can't wait to see where the Holy Spirit will lead us together.
Jordan received his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in Christian Leadership from Colorado Christian University in 2018, and his Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in 2024. In addition to his education, he received The Ronald E. Sleeth Preaching Award from Iliff, which recognizes graduating students who have achieved excellence in preaching.
Now for the fun side of Jordan. He describes himself as a “nerdy, pop culture type of guy.” He loves comic books, graphic novels, superheroes, movies and TV shows. He's also passionate about worship and enjoys singing and playing music. Jordan believes worship is not only a space for all people from all walks of life but also a great space to find connection across generations. Jordan is also passionate about disability awareness and accessibility as he has been surrounded by people with disabilities his whole life.
Jordan is married to Sharon Cramer who is an educator. She holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Special Education. She was named Teacher of the Year in Denton ISD (2017) and is set to receive the honor in Birdville ISD this spring. They have two daughters, Leah (8) in second grade and Lydia (4) in Pre-K 4.
